How to Become a Member

You are invited to consider membership at Philadelphia Baptist Church (PBC). A membership class is offered by our Pastor. This class explains PBC in detail.  You may register for the next class by contacting the church office.

Members are accepted into our family of faith in the following ways:

• By receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and obeying Him through believer’s baptism by immersion.
• By transfer of membership from another Baptist church - having already received Jesus as Lord and Savior and having been baptized.
• By Statement of your Christian faith - having already received Jesus as your Lord and Savior and having been baptized by immersion in another Christian denomination.
• By Baptism from another Christian denomination - having been a Christian but never having been baptized by immersion. (This does not invalidate your previous commitment.)

You may present yourself for membership by contacting one of the pastors and then attending the membership class; or you may sign up for a membership class and present yourself for membership at that time.
